President of the Lakeshore Artists Association, she won second prize at the 1997 Montreal Women Cultural Association Exhibition. Nature and outdoor activities are the main themes of this artist. Renée’s paintings are found in collections in Montreal, Toronto, the United States and Germany. She works in her studio where she also gives watercolor and drawing sessions. Each year, her students participate in a group exhibition.

Born in Drummondville, Lucie is studying at Cegep Bois-de-Boulogne, at the Graphic Arts Center, at the Georges Boka workshop and at the Bélaquar Studio. She has received specialized training in watercolour, pastel, acrylic and oil. Lucie has been teaching watercolour in groups as well as privately for the past 10 years, and has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions. Everyday life inspires her to paint.
Jean Grenier, Artiste / Artist, de / from Lévis, QC.
Jean made his début in 1993 under the guidance of M. Paul-Emile Lemieux. In 1997, his style changed radically. We find in his paintings curved lines that ease those more severe, which make urban buildings dance. This exploration of daring lines gives him much pleasure. A strong palette of colors and a developed perspective create a pleasant and lyrical visual experience. Street scenes are a preferred source of inspiration. He names his style “ondulationnism”. Jean also accepts commissions for art for residential and commercial buildings.

Nicole paints watercolour with delicate and sparing brushstrokes in which movement gives way to an unconfined and light expression. She is fascinated by the beauty of nature and people. Patrice Primiano, Artiste/Artist, de/from Pointe-aux-Trembles, QC.
Traditional painter whose paintings reflect the typical colourful richness of the Quebec countryside. Many of his paintings were judged as an integral part of the heritage by the Contemporary Art Museum. His work has been selected for many Quebec publications. He won the Canadian Painting grand prize in 1989 for his pure oil technique. He studies at the Montreal Fine Arts Museum.

Lucie uses the acrylic medium to express beauty and the joy that feeds her inspiration. She has received numerous distinctions, including first prize at the Foire des Artistes Alcan in 1991 and at the regional contest of the Visual Arts in 1995. Honorary Chair of the Symposium d’Anse-St-Jean, Petit-Saguenay in 1998, she repeated the honour in 2002 at the Arts Symposium of Danville Street. Her paintings are found in several private collections in Canada, the United States and Europe.

Christine vit à St-Michel depuis sa tendre enfance. C’est dans la tranquillité et la beauté de ce village magnifique qu’elle laisse aller son imaginaire. Ses tableaux sont le reflet de moments de la vie. La nature, les fleurs, les gens, les enfants, un instant de vie, sont ses sources d’inspiration. Valérie Lortie, Artiste/artist, de/from Portneuf, QC.
Valérie Lortie a grandi à Grondines, un petit village du comté de Portneuf, dans la région de Québec. Déjà toute petite, elle a un très grand intérêt pour les arts. À 13 ans, elle débute ses premiers cours de peinture à l'huile. Après ses études secondaires, elle étudiera en Arts Plastiques au Cégep de Ste-Foy ce qui l'amènera à peindre à l'acrylique et fera un passage en Communication Graphique à l'Université Laval. Depuis, elle consacre son temps à sa passion, la peinture. Elle a participé à plusieurs expositions, encans d'oeuvres d'arts, des galeries d'arts lui ont ouvert leurs portes et maintenant ses tableaux se retrouvent dans plusieurs collections privées au Québec, au Canada, aux États-Unis et en Europe.

C’est depuis l’enfance que je m’intéresse au dessin et à la couleur. Je peins à l’huile depuis une vingtaine d’années. Ma peinture se veut réaliste puisée à même le quotidien. Personnages, paysages, surtout d’hiver, natures mortes, sont mes sujets favoris. J’ai étudié le dessin, portrait, pastel sec et peinture sur soie. J’ai participé à plusieurs ateliers avec des peintres professionnels ainsi qu’à de nombreuses expositions solos et en groupes, en plus des symposiums à travers le Québec. Ces participations m’ont permis de remporter plusieurs prix et mentions. Je suis membre de Création Léonarts et de l’Association des Artistes de Saint-Laurent.
